Privacy notice

What we collect, why, and what you can ask of us.

This notice explains what Teapot Techies Pvt Ltd ("Teapot Techies", "we", "us") collects when you use teapottechies.com or get in touch with us, why, and what you can ask of us. Data we handle for a client project is covered by the terms and the statement of work for that project.

1. What we collect

When you contact us by email, WhatsApp, phone or a contact form, we receive what you send: usually your name, your contact details, your message and the service you are asking about.

When you visit the site, our analytics tool records basic visit information, such as the pages viewed, the page that sent you, your country, and the type of browser and device. It does not record your name or contact details.

During a project you may share business data with us. We handle that data on your behalf, under the terms and the statement of work for that project.

2. Analytics and your browser

We use Plausible Analytics to see how the site is used. It is designed to work without cookies and without following people across other sites.

If you switch between the light and dark theme, your choice is saved in your own browser so the site remembers it. It stays on your device and is not sent to us.

We do not run advertising trackers on this site.

3. How we use it

We use what you send us to reply, to understand what you need, to prepare a proposal and, if we work together, to deliver the service. We use analytics to improve the site.

We do not sell your personal data.

4. Who we share it with

We share data only with providers we need to run the site and our business, such as site hosting, email, messaging and analytics, and only so far as they need it for that purpose. We may record enquiries in our own business systems, such as email or a CRM, so that we can follow up.

Teapot Techies does not use your confidential data in any third-party AI agent or tool. Where you ask us to implement a third-party AI agent or tool, the choice is yours and we are not responsible for it, for its provider, or for how it handles data.

If you choose to message us on WhatsApp, that service runs under its own terms and privacy notice.

5. How long we keep it

We keep enquiry details for as long as they are useful for following up and for the working relationship, then delete or anonymise them. Project data is kept for the engagement and handled as the statement of work and the terms say.

6. Your choices

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. You can also ask us to stop contacting you. Write to us at the address below and we will reply.

7. Changes to this notice

We may update this notice. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
