VisWoX ERP

Construction ERP, ready to run.

What it does

A ready-to-run ERP built for construction firms, so you start from a system made for your industry instead of building one from scratch.

Who it is for

Construction firms that want a ready-made ERP.

What it covers

  • BOQ and BOM planning
  • Inventory, procurement and site-to-site stock transfers
  • Labour and overhead costing
  • Planned vs actual cost and variance tracking
  • GST-ready progress billing
  • Gantt chart, dashboard and document management
  • Roles for contract admin, backoffice and site supervisor

VisWoX is construction management software for builders, developers and contractors in India. It is built on the Odoo 17 framework and covers BOQ and BOM planning, inventory, procurement, labour and overhead costing, and GST-ready progress billing. Generic ERPs have no place for construction ideas such as BOQ, BOM, site-to-site transfers, daily progress reports, completion-based billing and procurement budget limits. VisWoX is built around them.

A workflow for each role

Each person on the project sees the tasks that belong to them.

  • Contract admin (project owner). Creates projects and generates the site locations, imports the BOQ and tasks, tracks planned against actual cost and variance, and approves material and procurement requests.
  • Backoffice (operations controller). Validates site transfers and stock movements, creates and manages purchase orders, receives stock, and updates completed square footage.
  • Supervisor (site execution). Sees the tasks assigned to them, raises stock or purchase requests, updates task progress and completed square footage, and confirms that materials physically arrived.

From project setup to progress reports

A project moves through eight steps in one system:

  1. Project setup and its rules
  2. Digital BOQ and task planning
  3. Material requests raised from site
  4. Central validation and procurement
  5. Inventory and stock updated automatically
  6. Delivery to site and receipt confirmation
  7. Cost and variance tracking
  8. Progress analytics for management

Material control and alerts

VisWoX compares what was planned with what has been used, material by material. A material that is within its plan shows as on track. One that has gone past its plan shows as over consumed. It also raises two alerts: one when available stock falls below 10%, and one when consumption goes above the stock available on site.

GST and audit trail

Purchase orders, receipts and billing documents support GST calculations and keep an audit trail of who did what.

Editions

VisWoX comes in three editions: Pilot, Standard and Premium.

  • All editions: project management, inventory, purchase, labour costing, Gantt chart, dashboard, BOQ approvals and revisions, and document management.
  • Pilot and Standard: template-based BOQ and BOM management.
  • Premium: advanced BOQ and BOM management, multi-level tasks, multi-company and multi-currency, timesheet and attendance, and VisWoX Intel.

Pilot is a 30-day trial on a shared instance. Standard and Premium are annual plans. Add-ons are available for invoicing, CRM and design document management.

VisWoX Intel

Intel is part of the Premium edition and is still in alpha. It reads a BOQ uploaded as a PDF or Excel file, recognises the tasks, sorts them into 11 job categories such as civil, finishes, MEP and external works, and drafts BOQ and BOM lines using a knowledge base of Indian construction.
